From The Darkness
Sue Allen Milkovich 5.0 out of 5 stars DRAGONS This is a story filled with intrigue and plot twists. It is a beautiful love story between two lost souls. Men that have faced the worst of what this world has to offer. Daniel and Tarquin have pasts that they are ashamed of. When they meet, they find the one person who will change their lives. This is a brand new writing duo. I can’t wait to see where H.M. WOLFE and E.L. NELSON adventure to next. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!!!
Green Rose 5.0 out of 5 stars Great mafia book. From the Darkness is a suspenseful MM romance, but much more than that. I loved this book, and I highly recommend it. I fell in love with Tarquin and Daniel. They have a rich past as all the characters that pop in. The story unfolds as each bit of information is given while leaving another missing part we need to find out. I was always waiting to see what happened which is why I couldn’t stop reading it.
One of my favorite parts was when the mafia men met to discuss who would take over. With all the characters, you try to guess who it will be. But there are twists and turns until we find who is chosen. Great dialogue.
Then there is this pesky issue of Tarquin and Daniel who had children in the past. There were experiments made and some positive things happen to mend the past as well as some justice for abuses. I’m looking forward to the next book.
Into the Light
Ashley A. Carr 5.0 out of 5 stars Great Story This is such a fantastic book!! The writing is superb and the characters are intriguing and captivating. This story introduces the reader to new characters as well as old ones so I recommend reading From the Darkness before starting this one. I can’t wait for the next installment of this series and I highly recommend this book!!
Al V 5.0 out of 5 stars Family and Love! They Work! A very unconventional family trying to right its wrongs and be the loving family they want. The heat between partners and lovers is steamy and right! I’m in love with Alistair!
Out of the Shadows
Maria V. 4.0 out of 5 stars 4.5 stars and a great addition to the series I really like where this series is going. I do warn you that you have to read these books in order because of the intricate plot that flows through from book to book. But on top of that, this one ended a freaking cliff hanger! That’s ok though because book 4 is already out and I can immediately jump into that one. One of the things that I’m enjoying most about this series is watching how each character is developing and growing. We don’t just watch them for a short period of time and are finished, they are worming their way into your very soul and you want to know what will happen next to them and the plot. I highly recommend this series for anyone who loves a good MM read.
In this particular book, the suspense is amped up, there are new people to get to know, and the plot is thickening. You really have to read this series of books for yourself.
4.5 stars for Out of the Shadows, and I recommend you one-click today.
Emma Brown 5.0 out of 5 stars Need more Where to start. It was great seeing these characters continue to evolve and grow. The relationships and bonds are tested but are still strong. It was wonderful to see familiar faces and new ones too. Now I need book four to hurry up and get here, so I can find out what happens next!
From Dusk til Dawn
M. Chris 4.0 out of 5 stars 4.5 stars and another must-read for this series! Woah! Hold onto your seats because this ride isn’t over yet. From Dusk Til Dawn is the fourth book in the Dragons’ House Series by H.M. Wolfe and E.L. Nelson, and I loved every word written. You will have to start at the beginning of the series if you haven’t read it yet, but I highly suggest that you do. The story as a whole is well-written and contains a very intrict plot. Filled with emotion, action, and so much more, this is a must read and a series you don’t want to miss. For this book, it might be my favorite out of all of them. Holes are being filled in, the characters and the plot are continuously developing, and the books are hard to put down. 4.5 stars and I highly suggest you one click this book today. I cannot wait for book 5 to come out!
angie 5.0 out of 5 stars Action packed, full of love and sexy men Another great addition to this series, love it. This book continues the story of the great family who I fell in love with in book 1(From The Darkness)… all the action, angst, love, sexiness, and twists continue. Oh my God, the twists…when you think you have figured it all out HM Wolfe and E.L. Nelson laugh at you and present another twist. The best part is they make these surprises work. I am unhooked on this series. Now I wait anxiously for the next book, wondering what new surprises the talented authors have in store for their readers.
Stars and Nightmares
CrazyKat19 5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect Ending to a Great Series Stars and Nightmares: Dragons’ House Five is the final book in the Dragons’ House series. I believe that fans of this series will love the way the authors wrapped this series up, closing many loose ends while setting up the premise for the next series. When I started book one, I thought I would be reading a contemporary crime story and was surprised when elements of mpreg showed up. Don’t let this aspect deter you as the reasons and way the pregnancies occur will make sense in the long run. By this final book, an urban fantasy feel has found its way into the series, but this too seems natural with the way the authors have woven the story.
I came across this series by accident while I was looking for something to read. The blurb from book one, From the Darkness: Dragons’ House, pulled me in from the moment I read it and I needed to see what exactly the story was about. As soon as I read it, I was hooked and anxiously awaited each new installment. Although the first book centers on one couple, it is full of secondary characters that play important parts in this story, as well as each following one. They are complex characters, that when faced with impossible situations, are able to overcome them thanks to the family they surround themselves with.
With the vast amount of characters in the series readers will not have an easy chance picking their favorite couple. For me it started out being Daniel and Tarquin, the main couple from book one. I loved the confidence Daniel has and the way he lends his strength to Tarquin, but don’t let that comment fool you into thinking things were easy between them. They have a hard time of things many times throughout this series, more than once they made me cry. And at one point I will say the authors made me a little miffed (I mean this in a good way H.M. and E.L.) by what they put them through in book three. Eventually another couple joined Daniel and Tarquin in the favorite category and that was Ardan and Alasdair. These two have such a strong connection with each other and that love is easy for the readers to see. I love the way Ardan calls Alasdair Spitfire and the way Alasdair stands behind Ardan giving him the support he needs to overcome the pain of his past.
I am sad to see the Dragons’ House series come to an end but, I cannot wait to see how the authors handle the younger generation in the next series. There are so many little ones in this first series that I am curious as to which ones will become the focus of the second series and how the authors plan to wrap up the loose ends that still need closed.
I am glad I took a chance on these new authors and the wonderful series they have written. I know there are many like me who worry about trying a new author for the first time but think many will enjoy this series and strongly suggest you give both the series and authors a shot.
